5 Positive Lessons from Failure

In our pursuit of goals, dreams, the good life or whatever we desire, we tend to go through different ways to achieve them. If our ways do not meet up to expectation or produce the desired result, we tend to classify it as a failure. We should not necessarily see an unfulfilled result as a failure but rather as an avenue to learn from what went wrong and seek a new direction to our goals.

Failure should not crush us in fact we should be able to see it as an asset in life. One of the main ways to analyse how failure impacts an individual, is to see how they react and cope with the situation after experiencing failure.

Failure is one of life’s best teachers, we should be able to learn from our mistakes or failures, make some corrections and move on from it. When we make excuses, blame others and fail to take responsibility of our situation, we therefore fail to learn from experience and just might be inviting more failures to ourselves.

The 5 Positive Lessons from Failure are such as:
1) Failure Teaches us that Success comes with Hard Work - Succes does not come easy, focus, hard work and great networking skills need to be acquired. Unless you are the child of a billionaire, you just might have all the good things in life already. To be successful, self made etc,  we need to be focused, work hard, plan and grow our network so that we can achieve our desires and live that comfortable live we wish to have.

2) Failure Teaches us that Positivity is key - Personally I dont think there is really a thing as failure. Things might no go to plan but that does not necessarily mean you have failed. There is always a good reason why things didn't work out, learning from it and having a positive mindset would help us focus and become more successful. A positive mindset is one of our most powerful assets as it keeps us focused, motivates us and makes us believe in ourselves even when others do not and when things do not seem to go right at the beginning. Stay Positive!

3) Failure Teaches us to try many avenues before giving up - We may try a certain way or route that seems ‘right’ to us in order to achieve our goals or dreams. If we fail in that route, that does not mean that we can never succeed. Instead we should be able to analyse where we went wrong and come up with other options or routes to go about achieving our goals. While planning our goals, we should be able to have options or back up plans on our road to success.

4) Failure teaches us to trust our Intuition - sometimes our intuition, our inner soul, our inner being and so on, knows exactly what we want to be in life, knows which situations are better for us and sometimes just lets us know when something does not feel right. We tend to overlook this part of us and just do what seems right. Most times what ‘feels’ right might be a better decision than what ‘seems’ right.

5) Failure Teaches us not to Trust Everyone - In this case, lets face it some humans can be deceiving. You might get people posing as great ‘advisers’ to you on how to achieve your goals, instead they might just be envious of your success and are trying to sabotage you or do not care for your happiness. Be wary of wolves in sheep clothing. Be careful of the people you deal with, be mindful and pay attention to your environment.

Some failures might have a greater impact than others and some might be more humiliating. Whatever the situation of what you classify as failure, Learn to own your failures, admit it, take responsibility, learn from mistakes, work harder, stay positive and you would be much more likely to achieve the results you want and come out more successful
